Forget about ZTE Zmax Pro, the extra cheap phone with fingerprint sensor priced at less than $100 does not mean much now, thanks to the cheapest Android phone, the Doogee Homtom HT17. Available for orders on GearBest, Homtom HT17 is set by the retailer to take over Zmax Pro’s rapid popularity and customer interest by offering the Fingerprint feature, not in a $99 phone but in device almost twice cheaper, costing just $59.99.
While the Doogee’s Homtom HT17 cannot compete the Zmax Pro in the terms of features and supports, it can compete it in the terms of availability and pricing. As this mobile phone is not part of a monopoly seller (currently the ZTE Zmax Pro can be pre-ordered for $99 only via MetroPCS) and costs almost 50% less.
Homtom HT17 comes sporting a 5.5-inch capacitive touch-screen display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (smaller than the 6″ Zmax Pro, which can also turn into a favour for it), a 13MP rear-facing (8MP camera with software to shoot 13MP photos and videos) camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 5MP selfie snapper in the front.
The Doogee’s cheap phone with fingerprint sensor comes powered by the quad-core MediaTek MTK673 with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD support up to 128GB, and the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. (while the Zmax Pro has twice as that RAM and 32GB flash storage).
The Homtom HT17 supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, OTG, GPS and highlights its connectivity supports with the Fingerprint Sensor. Despite being an extra-cheap phone, the HT17 comes with a long battery life thanks to its 3,000 mAh battery.
The amazing deal from where you can purchase the Homtom HT17 for just $59.99 is offered by GearBest and at the moment it expects only eight more orders to expire. If for any reason those units aren’t purchased, the campaign is expected to last until August 16.
