The 2016 Blu Life One X edition of a budget smartphone has recently received an upgraded version with a better 16MP camera, an improved selfie snapper, Fingerprint, Quick Charge technology, and a later pre-loaded OS. The new Blu Life One X2 Edition is available for pre-orders for the starting price of just $134.99 (cheaper than its downgraded predecessor Life One X) via Amazon.
The Blu Life One X2 upgrades the design of the handset by adding a metallic casing on the back paired with a 5.2-inch FHD touchscreen display on the front sporting 1920 x 1080 pixels in resolution. Significant improvements coming with the new Blu smartphone are undoubtedly its cameras, the 16MP Phase detection autofocus main camera with LED flash and the 8MP front-facing selfie camera with a LED of its own outrage Blu’s first generation of Life One X 13MP and 5MP camera units. Both of the cameras enable video recording at 1080p.
With the Life One X2, Blu ditches the MediaTek MT6753 chipset for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The phone comes with models varying by their storage and performance, the 2GB of RAM model has 16GB storage while the 4GB of RAM comes with 64GB of flash memory. For the both models internal storage is expandable via microSD up to 65GB, while the smooth operation of the cell phone is guaranteed by the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The connectivity supports housed on the Blu Life One X2 are pretty good for the price, it supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a Fingerprint sensor located on the multi-functional physical Home button. Life One X lacks a physical Home button. The battery that powers this phone is a 3,000 mAh unit featuring Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 tech.
Blu Life One X2 is listed on Amazon for $149.99 in Gunmetal and Gold Rose colors and both models varying by memory. The 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage version is priced at $190.
