Samsung will be releasing three new mid tier smartphones in the early days of 2017. The units set to release the following month are the 2017 versions of the Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7. We are introduced with the Galaxy A5 (2017) specifications a few days ago but recently another benchmarking site announced the specifications of the Galaxy A7 (2017) and the phone promises big.
The GFXBench benchmark announced specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) with serial number SM-A720x. The A7 (2017) similarly to the A5 (2017) will also be featuring two 16MP cameras, one on the rear and one on the front. Both cameras will shoot photos at 4608 x 3456 pixels and will record full HD videos at 1920 x 1080 pixels. If you believed that Samsung is done with 5.7-inch phablets because of the Galaxy Note 7 disaster you were totally wrong. Samsung will be pushing up one more time its 5.7-inch line of phones with the Galaxy A7 (2017). Besides the 5.5-inch standard version of the Galaxy A7 line of phones, the 2017 version will have a 5.7-inch FHD model.
If you believed that Samsung is done with 5.7-inch phablets because of the Galaxy Note 7 disaster you were totally wrong. Samsung will be pushing up one more time its 5.7-inch line of phones with the Galaxy A7 (2017). Besides the 5.5-inch standard version of the Galaxy A7 line of phones, the 2017 version will have a 5.7-inch FHD model. Unfortunately, no 2K screen on the larger version.
Galaxy A7 (2017) will be running on the 1.8GHz Samsung Exynos 7880 chipset with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable memory and Android 6.0.1 OS out of the box. In the connectivity terms, A7 (2017) will support 4G LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a fingerprint recognition sensor. G5.5-inch A7 (2017) will be powered by a 3,500 mAh battery while the 5.7-inch Galaxy A7 (2017) will have 3,600 mAh battery capacity.
