Specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 Edition have been the subject of numerous online leaks. The new Galaxy A5 is coming with better cameras, tougher and improved screen thanks to the 4th generation of Corning Gorilla Glass and more memory.

An Arabic source has published a benchmark screenshot of the specifications of the Galaxy A5. The leak suggests that the upcoming phone will hold the 5.2-inch size with Super AMOLED FHD display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels made of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It will also an Android with a front fingerprint. There are also rumors that claim the Galaxy A5 to be featuring curved display similar to the Samsung’s Edge line of smartphones but the published photos of the curved phone might be belonging to the other upcoming Samsung phone, Galaxy C7 Pro. The Galaxy A5 will be sporting a metallic, aluminum frame with glass cover on the back (Gorilla Glass 4).

Based on the whole known information related to the 5.2-incher, the Galaxy A5 2017 will be running the Samsung-made Exynos 7880 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable flash storage with microSD support up to 128GB. A major upgrade with the new version of the phone is related to its photography supports, this time there will be two 16MP phase detection autofocus cameras on both sides with f/1.9 aperture lens and LED flash.

The phone will be IP68-certified for its waterproof durability, support two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, dual-band WiFi, NFC, fingerprint sensor, and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. It is expected to launch during last days of December or early January to tag the price of $430. Stay tuned.
