Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Black Matte Edition

Samsung announced the 6-inch Galaxy C9 Pro in China back in October. The mid-tier handset was firstly introduced in two available colors, Gold and Rose Gold. Today Samsung has unveiled renders of a gorgeous Galaxy C9 Pro coming in Matte Black, Samsung’s 6-inch mid-range phablet never looked better than today.

The Galaxy C9 Pro sports a metal unibody design with a 6-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 75.6% screen-to-body ratio. It features a 16MP phase detection autofocus main camera with f/1.8 aperture lens, HDR, and dual-tone LED flash for recording full HD videos at 1080 pixels. In addition, the phablet provides outstanding selfie-snapping and video chatting quality because the selfie camera is the same 16MP unit. C9 Pro can be considered a selfie-first phablet.

It runs the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor with eight CPU cores clocked a 1.9GHz backed by Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB of RAM, 64GB of flash storage supporting expansion via microSD by up to 256GB and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. In other terms, the phablet supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, dual-band WiFi 802.11/a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Home button. The handset gets powered by a non-removable 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge technology support.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is expected to launch in the western markets sometime soon but the exact date remains to be unknown. While in China, the C9 Pro tags the price of 3,199 Yuan, approximately $460 with the current exchange rates.
