As it is clearly visible, the device exposing its front panel has a physical Home button while the phone exposing the back design has a fingerprint mounted on the back. If Gionee is releasing two versions of the A1, there might be one version of the fingerprint sensor on the back and another version with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The one with front-mounted fingerprint must be the Gionee A1 Plus, and it should feature a design of 5.5-inch or larger. As the Gionee A1 has its size confirmed and it is precisely 5.5-inch.
