A new Asus phone with 5.2-inch HD display and a large 4,850 mAh battery codenamed as Asus X00GD has received certification on TENAA. The newly-certified Asus phone will aim to break through budget-oriented phones, it will have up to 4GB of RAM versions and ship with pre-loaded Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade out of the box. Based on what TENAA provides regarding the phone’s specifications and features, claims began circulating that this phone could be Asus ZenFone 4.
The Asus X00GD phone will come in 5.2-inch with a TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixels and sport a 13MP full-HD CMOS camera sensor with four-time digital zoom and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. Both camera units record videos at 1080 pixels.
The upcoming handset will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with versions having 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM with respectively 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of flash storage. All of the three versions support memory expansion via microSD by up to 32GB and will have Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade since the very first day.
It will support two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, and a fingerprint sensor mounted on the front-facing physical Home button. The upcoming Asus phone will measure dimensions of 149.5 x 73.7 x 8.85 mm, weigh 169.5 grams, and will be having Luxury Gold, Rose Gold, and Black colors.
