Renders and specifications of the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 flagship phone from China leak online. Prepare for a preserved mind-boggling surprise cooked by Meizu with its brand-new Pro 7 titanium-made device that will feature a 4K touchscreen display. The world’s first smartphone with a 4K display was the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium that featured a 5.5-inch panel that brings pixel’s density at 801 PPI. The Meizu Pro 7 will have a slighter larger panel of 5.7-inch, thus, the pixel density will be slightly lower as well. But still, it will be a game changer.
As these exclusive renders expose, the Pro 7 phablet by Meizu will be sporting a titanium body design that will provide premium durability features and will have curved edges on the back. The 5.7-inch touchscreen display will be supporting the AOD technology and feature a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Outstanding quality, right?
One of the best Meizu phones ever made will be housing a 12MP Sony IMX362 phase detection autofocus camera with a large 1.4micron size pixel (found on the Vivo Xplay 6) for 4K video recording. The selfie camera remains to be unknown still.
And still, Meizu is not ditching MediaTek processors. The Pro 7 will be powered by the deca-core MediaTek Helio X30 chipset and will be having versions with 4GB of RAM plus 64GB storage and 6GB/8GB of RAM with 128GB memory. The internal storage will be supporting expansion via a microSD. Fingerprint sensor will be mounted on the Home button.
Beside specifications and renders, the Meizu Pro 7’s pricing also leaked out. The 4GB of RAM version will be priced at 3,299 Yuan ($479) the 6GB of RAM will cost 3,599 Yuan ($523) and the premium 8GB of RAM version will sell for 3,799 Yuan ($550). This tells that Meizu’s first phone with a 4K display will be much cheaper than the Oppo Find 9 that is expected to launch in the upcoming weeks.
