Oppo is a Chinese phone maker that produces catchy mid-range mobile handsets, but not limited to. Invitations sent by the company indicated of a special event that will be held on March 23 where a product launch is expected. What the latest report reveals is that the company will be set on rivaling Vivo V5 Plus with a similar dual-camera selfie phone, the Oppo F3 Plus.
Fortunately for Oppo fans, the specifications of the OPPo F3 Plus leaked online ahead of launch, and they will no longer have to wait for two weeks more to make up their mind wherever want Oppo’s selfie phone.
Oppo’s F3 Plus will be slightly larger than its competitor. It will have a 6-inch FHD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and protected by the 5th generation of Corning Gorilla Glass. The device packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage by up to 256GB via microSD card, and is topped by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Oppo’s selfie phone will be faster than Vivo’s.
With this kind of phones having the popular dual-camera setup trend on the front and not on the rear like the most, the primary cameras stand for front-facing units. And Oppo F3 Plus houses 16MP plus 8MP front cameras and a 16MP rear camera. The leaked document does not include a 4K video recording support, but chances are that it will. Noting that Vivo V5 Plus has an outstanding 20MP Sony IMX376 and an 8MP backup unit that make its selfie dual-camera features.
Oppo F3 Plus will be supporting two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and fingerprint. It will get powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, measure dimensions of 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm, and weigh 185 grams. The reason why this large phone weighs so little is that it will have a plastic body instead of an aluminum one. Oppo F3 Plus will be available in Black and Gold colors.
