Xiaomi Mi Note 2, the over rumored smartphone that was said to be sporting a dual-curved edge screen similarly to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is finally official. The official release cleaned all doubts, the phone did come with a dual-curved screen, however, it is an outstanding camera performing Android that sports an outstanding 22.5MP 4K camera, runs Snapdragon 821 Soc, and is available for pre-orders in China for 2,799 Yuan ($413) – No, it doesn’t feature a bezel-less all-touchscreen design as previously reported, but that phone exists and is called Xiaomi Mi Mix.

The Mi Note 2 flagship by Xiaomi comes sporting a 5.7-inch IPS OLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and curved edges on both sides. It easily resembles the Note 7 when you see it from the front. In the core of Mi Note 2 lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB and 6GB of RAM backed by 64GB and 128GB storage with MIUI 8 based on Android OS. These specs rank the Note 2 as one of the top rated Chinese smartphones made by far.

Xioami is already selling the Mi Note 2 with 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage for 2,799 Yuan ($415), 6GB of RAM + 128GB memory for 3,299 Yuan ($435) and an international version with 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage for 3,499 Yuan or $515. To be noted is that in less than one day, Xiaomi has received over than 600,000 reservations (pre-orders).
