The very first renders of the upcoming Meizu M3 Max (rumored as the Meizu Max) have been leaked, and it is a stylish 6-inch phone with a front fingerprint and Home button that appears to be a larger version of the company’s newcomer Meizu M3E.
Meizu will be holding a special event on 5th of September for which the invitations have already been sent, this is the moment where is most likely for the Meizu M3 Max to be unveiled. As you may notice, the 6-inch M3 Max is designed similarly to the M3E with some tiny upgrades, like the main camera has a dual LED flash and is expected to be a business phone because Meizu invitations for the event included images of the Nokia E71 business class phone.
Little is known about specifications of the M3 Max, but what we can expect is the multi-functional mback home button that also features a fingerprint sensor and the handset to be running on the Alibaba’s YunOS with Flyme OS skin on top. Interesting fact about Meizu is that its YunOS-powered phones are not available in the western countries and is unsure if this phone will ever be available in the U.S. Still, on 13th of September, Meizu will hold another event to introduce the company’s first phone featuring a dual-edge curved display and powered by Exynos 8890 SoC, Meizu Pro 7 flagship. The flagship is most likely to be available worldwide, however, the Meizu phones are not available on western retailer sites, can be easily found on AliExpress or AliBaba (my phone is a Meizu device and me just recently received the Flyme 5.1 based on YunOS, it works great).
As about the Meizu M3 Max a.k.a Meizu Max, it is rumored to carry the price tag of 1799 Yuan (approximately $270 with the current currency exchanges). A mid-range pricing which makes me believe that it will feature at least 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage for that price, probably the 16GB storage model will be cheaper than $270.
