Rumors and concepts regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 today finally came to their end. A new full leak regarding Samsung’s 2017 flagship shared by always-reliable Evan Blass exposes everything about the best mobile that will be rolling out soon. According to the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in two major versions, a 5.8-inch standard edition and a 6.2-inch larger version (no 6-inch Galaxy S8 will be released). Beside leak of full specifications of the handset, its launch date and pricing has also been revealed. Based on the latest report, Samsung will be holding a special event in New York on March 29 where the official introduction of the Galaxy S8 will take place.

Both curved edge phone versions of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be featuring Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels that will cover 83 percent of the front-facing panel and that will be featuring screen-to-body ratio of 18.5:8 (Samsung modifies the industry-standard ratio of 16:9). The thrilling news is that both versions of the Galaxy S8 will be featuring a curved display.

Galaxy S8 will be featuring a 12MP main camera and an upgraded 8MP selfie camera (Galaxy S7 series featured 5MP selfie cameras) where both units will be having a large f/1.7 aperture lens. The main camera is backed by a dual-tone LED flash for shooting photos at low-light and it will record 4K videos, the selfie camera might be limited to full HD video recording, but a 2K video recording on the front might also be possible.

Both versions of the Galaxy S8 will be featuring the latest Android Nougat upgrade since day one, but they will be coming with different mobile processors. There will have versions powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Samsung Exynos. Standard editions will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage with the support of microSD for additional space of up to 256GB.

Galaxy S8 will be housing a Samsung-made virtual assistant called Bixby, and it will allow users to have full control over Android via a desktop keyboard. The Android features can be explored and monitored via a mouse and keyboard. This feature is called  Samsung DeX; and requires equipment of an HDMI dock.

Next to the selfie camera, the new Samsung phone will be featuring the Iris scanner that was previously found on the Galaxy Note 7. An additional feature is pressure-sensitivity support on the touchscreen display of the handsets. As the Galaxy S8 will lack the physical Home button, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back side of the phone, residing beside the main camera. Other features will be the USB Type-C port and the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The 5.8-inch Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and will start selling for €799 (860). While the 6.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S8 edition will have a larger 3,500 mAh battery capacity and will retail for €899 ($955). Both versions of the handsets will be unveiled on March 29 and will be available for orders starting by April 21.
