Alcatel A5 LED phone
The Alcatel A5 LED is a 5.2-inch phone that sports an HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and features a LED cover on the back that make the phone’s back design illuminated. Flashing lights on the back are often found on high-performing gaming cellphones. The LED lights on the back body of Alcatel A5 LED are not placed only for aesthetical boost, they are useful to supply you with the latest notifications from social media or emails by changing patterns and allow users to engage in a pattern challenge game.
A5 LED phone by Alcatel runs the 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable onboard storage. The operating system powering the device is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It has a 13MP autofocus camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash for shooting videos at 1080p and a secondary front-facing 5MP unit for selfies with a flash of its own. Lots of LED’s packed within this Alcatel phone.
Alcatel A5 LED supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, WiFi, Micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. The onboard battery that will keep the device powered is a unit with 2,800 mAh capacity.
Alcatel A3 phone
The next device is what Alcatel calls a “World’s cheapest smartphone“, the Alcatel A3. As its name suggests, it has a 5-inch HD display with 720p resolution and runs the 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that supports microSD up to 32GB and Android 6.0 Marshmallow version of the OS.
This phone also sports 13MP autofocus hi-resolution primary camera and a 5MP selfie snapper at the front. It supports 4G LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, GPS, a back-mounted fingerprint, and NFC. The battery is a 2,460 mAh unit. Price remains to be disclosed but expect something cheap.
Alcatel U5 phone
The third phone is the Alcatel U5, dubbed by the company as “World’s cheapest 5-inch 4G LTE phone”. It has a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, runs 1.1GHz Mediatek MT6737M chipset with one GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Android Marshmallow is what highlights its scarce specs.
A 5MP and 2MP camera make everything Alcatel U5 phone reserves for photography, 4G LTE network support highlights its connectivity features and a 2,050 mAh battery powers it up. Kinda useless phone for 2017.
