Doogee Shoot 1

It doesn’t happen often for inexpensive mobile devices to have a 33% discount in two weeks after official release. But this exactly what happened with the Doogee Shoot 1, the dual-camera smartphone with fingerprint released two weeks ago and planned to sell for $149.99 is now available for pre-orders via GeekBuying for just $99.99.

Doogee’s Shoot 1 phone comes elegantly designed with round edges and curved design on the back, sports a 5.5-inch FHD capacitive Sharp capacitive touchscreen display also with a tiny curve on edges. The phone was subject to leaks reporting it to be featuring MediaTek’s premium mobile processors such as Helio X23 or Helio X27. Unfortunately, these rumors resulted in being untrue, however, the phone is well-packed for the price and it runs the 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737T chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage. The internal storage is expandable via microSD by up to 128GB and the phone comes running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

As the name suggests, Doogee Shoot 1 is a smartphone made with photography in mind. It has a combo of two cameras on the rear where a 13MP Samsung S5K3L8 phase detection autofocus camera snaps photos at a resolution of 4208 x 3120 pixels while the 8MP secondary FHD camera captures depth information. For selfies, Doogee has implemented another 8MP FHD camera on the rear with selfie enhancement effects. Dual cameras on the rear are backed by a dual LED flash for snapping photos and videos at low light or night.
