Huawei joined up the dual-camera technology trend in mobile devices in early days of 2017 when announced the Honor 6X Android, an affordable camera smartphone at CES event. Huawei’s first dual-lens phone is also the world’s cheapest smartphone featuring a dual-camera setup. Priced at just $249.99, Huawei brings the top-notch trend normally found at expensive flagship phones down to an affordable price range. In just a week after being introduced, Huawei’s Honor 6X can be ordered in the U.S via Amazon.
Huawei Honor 6X boasts a 5.5-inch full HD display featuring a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and sports a 12MP and 2MP dual-camera setup on the rear with phase detection autofocus, f/1.6 aperture, and a plentiful amount of effects for recording 1080p videos. For selfie addicts, Honor 6X brings an 8MP camera that features selfie effects and also records full HD videos at 1080p.
Huawei’s new handset runs the 2.1GHz octa-core Kirin 650 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and highlights its self with EMUI 4.1 skin based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It gets powered by a 3,340 mAh battery and supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, dual-band WiFi, GPS, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Honor 6X is available in Grey, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold colors.
