ZTE Blade V8 and Blade V8 Pro dual camera phones launched at CES

ZTE Blade V8 Pro phone

ZTE participated at CES event where the company released its new phone for a budget featuring a dual-camera setup on the rear. The ZTE’s new dual camera Blade V8 and its larger version Blade V8 Pro snap 4K videos via their cameras (V8 Pro only), are backed by 3GB of RAM, and feature a fingerprint sensor on the front. The larger version, ZTE Blade V8 Pro which we expect to be the most expensive one, is available for pre-orders in the U.S for the budget price of just $229.89.

ZTE Blade V8 Pro phone

The ZTE Blade V8 smartphone features a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and protected by the 3rd generation of Corning Gorilla Glass. The larger 5.5-inch Blade V8 Pro has the same screen with the same FHD resolution. The Blade V8 sports a dual-camera setup of a 13MP and a 2MP autofocus cameras with HDR where the second measures distance to allow the phone to shoot 3D photos. The 5.5-inch Blade V8 Pro phone has premium photography features thanks to its dual 13MP phase detection autofocus cameras with auto HDR and dual LED flash for shooting 4K videos at 30 frames per second. The selfie cameras for both versions is an 8MP face detection autofocus camera with selfie enhancement features that shoots 1080p videos.

ZTE Blade V8 Pro phone

The ZTE Blade V8 runs the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB and 3GB of RAM versions with 16GB and 32GB of respective internal storage. The Blade V8 Pro runs a more powerful processor, the Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Both models support microSD up to 128GB for extra memory and run on Mifavor 4.2 UI built-in Android 7.0 Nougat.

Both versions of the new ZTE Blade phones support two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, Bluetooth, GPS, and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. The V8 Pro comes upgraded with NFC and USB Type-C with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 in addition to what the Blade V8 supports.

5.2-inch Blade V8 gets powered by a non-removable 2,730 mAh battery and will be available in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey colors. While the Blade V8 Pro has housed a larger 3,140 mAh battery and will be available in Diamond Black color.
