Huawei P10 and P10 Plus launching at MWC 2017 with EMUI 5.1

Huawei EMUI 5.1

Huawei is holding a special event on February 26 at Barcelona’s MWC 2017 event where will announce the new premier China mobiles, the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus dual camera flagships. Almost everything regarding the upcoming Huawei flagship has been cleared out by numerous online leaks, and just when we thought that there’s little-hidden info about the phone was the company herself that announced something new. Huawei uses its own customized operating system to run its devices and is called EMUI, and it happens to be having its own social media profiles for announcing news and updates.

Huawei EMUI China used the Weibo microblogging platform to announce that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be joined at the MWC phone show with a brand-new Huawei EMUI 5.1. The new Huawei user interface is an upgraded version of the EMUI 5.0 and as its predecessor will also be based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. But it may also come as built-in the latest Android 7.1.2 version.

Regarding design and user experience, the EMUI 5.1 is expected to not differ much from the current EMUI version. The new Huawei user interface will surely not be the greatest feature of the P10 phone; it will just be used to highlight everything Huawei P10 has to offer.

Huawei will be exposing several new devices on February 26 in Barcelona. Its hottest products are the 5.2-inch Huawei P10 and 5.5-inch Huawei P10 Plus hi-end smartphones. The P10 Plus will be the premium edition of the flagship phone that features a curved edge screen. Online leaks have already cleared almost everything about Huawei P10 and P10 plus.

Besides the announcement of 2017 flagship, Huawei will also be introducing the second generation of Huawei Watch. Huawei’s Watch 2 will be a fitness-first wearable device that highlights its self by being the first to run Google’s Android Wear 2.0 operating system for wearable devices.

Also, Huawei will also be launching three new versions of fast-charging 10,000 mAh power banks. These make the entire collection of Huawei devices to be announced at MWC 2017 event. If Huawei decides to surprise us and launch more devices, it will happen just a few days from now. Stay tuned.
