A rare hands-on image that was shared on the Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo.
The previous hands-on render of Xioami Mi 6 did not have an original appearance, but the latest one appears to be legit. Once again, it dismisses the design that firstly appeared on sketches, as the LED flash is once again located on the left side of the dual camera setup.
The handset appears sporting a decent design with curved edges on the back, two cameras on the top-left side and the dual-tone LED flash on the left side of the cameras. The LED flash is positioned just before the curve on the back side starts.
The latest rumors regarding the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone talk about it coming in two major versions, a 5.15-inch standard version and a larger 5.7-inch edition that will be called Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. Both versions are said to be sporting FHD screens and run the Snapdragon 835 SoC. The smaller edition will be having 4GB of RAM while the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, alongside it will be having 6GB of RAM version. Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 is expected to pre-installed with the handset.
If Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus are released on April 11, they might become the first smartphones running Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Thus, outpacing Samsung Galaxy S8 and probably gaining terrain in the Chinese market.
This leak might be of the Xiomi Mi 6 Plus, as the Xiaomi Mi 6 is said to be having only one primary camera, and that to be the Sony IMX400. While the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus to be the only dual-camera phone of the flagship and it will have two Sony IMX362 camera units on the rear. Both phones will be having 8MP selfie cameras.
