Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus are two unrivaled Chinese phones running Android and two of the best overall mobiles that were announced during Mobile World Congress after months of rumors, leaks, and speculations.

The last generation of Huawei P-series of Android smartphones straightly lists up as one of the best mobile devices announced this year. Similarly to its predecessor, Huawei P10 will come in two major editions. A 5.1-inch standard version and a larger, 5.5-inch edition named Huawei P10 Plus.

Both two versions of Huawei P10 phone have common features and also differ from one to other. The display is the most significant feature that makes Huawei P10 versions differ from one another. The Huawei P10 phone has a 5.1-inch display panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while the Huawei P10 Plus has a larger screen. It sports a 5.5-inch display panel, but with significantly improved resolution, a 2K display sits on top of the Huawei P10 Plus phone. The resolution of the later is 2560 x 1440, way better.

The FHD display of Huawei P10 has a pixel density of 432 pixel-per-inch, but its larger sibling, thanks to its QHD display, adds more to it, a pixel density of 540 PPI.

Huawei implemented a powerful processor on the P10 and P10 Plus phones. The featured HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor is comparable to the Snapdragon 821 (found on the LG G6). Kirin 960 is made of four Cortex-A73 CPU cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four other Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Mali-G71 MP8 GPU backs this powerful Huawei-made SoC.

As both Huawei P10 phones have the same mobile processor, they differ from each other regarding versions varying by supported storage.

The Huawei P10 has 4GB of RAM and versions with 64GB and 128GB of storage. While its larger sibling, Huawei P10 Plus has versions with 4GB of RAM with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of storage and a premium 6GB of RAM Huawei P10 Plus edition that packs an internal memory of 256GB.

Both versions support memory expansion. Up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Just days before MWC 2017 took place, Huawei used the Chinese social network Weibo to announce that a new operating system was coming with the phones. Huawei updated its Emotion 4.0 UI with the launch of the Huawei P10 with the new EMUI 5.1 (Emotion UI 5.1) that is also based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Concerning power, Huawei P10 has a 3,200 mAh battery while the Huawei P10 Plus houses a larger unit with a capacity of 3,750 mAh. Both versions support fast charging.

Connectivity features of the Huawei P10 consist of everything a hi-end smartphone can have. It supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, 3G network, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and the front-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Pricing of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus is relative to the version. Standard edition Huawei P10 with 64GB storage retails for $700. While the price of Huawei P10 Plus with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage begins at $755 and it continues at  $860 for the 128GB of storage edition. Huawei did not list pricing for other versions

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus phones are available for purchases in around 30 countries, including some European countries like the United Kingdom. But still, they are not available in the United States.
